We are enrolled in Puget Sound Energy's Green Power program, paying extra to purchase a portion of our energy from renewable sources such as solar, wind, and methane recovered from local dairy cows.
We participate in the Smart Trips program, an ongoing partnership between local government, public agencies, employers and schools to reduce carbon emissions by promoting transportation by walking, bicycling, sharing rides and riding the bus.
We have taken the Whatcom County Watershed Pledge to help prevent pollution to our watershed through recycling, waste prevention, and good housekeeping practices, drainage and landscape maintenance.
